Show Notes
Well, after quite a bit of time I think it’s become apparent that getting back on the air hasn’t been possible as of yet. Chloe and I spoke for quite a bit of time and felt that overall, this show was about the chemistry that Disco and I had, on the air. We won’t speak of our off-air chemistry. Bre and Shandy get angry about it.
Honestly, it was a privilege working with Disco. We were able to make a pretty damn entertaining show and quite frankly to replace him is impossible. Disco also took the studio with him, so the only tools left to broadcast with are USB ports and fingerling potatoes.
I have no doubt we’ll be back on the air at some point, it just won’t be for a while.
Before Disco left we did record one brand spankin new episode, so hopefully at some point that will be released. Our Tim to Power music video, which is sitting on my desktop, is waiting to be edited. I’m guessing both of those will be made available at some point. Hell, we recorded a brand new theme song and no one is able to appreciate it’s magic.
We appreciate all the support from our fans and listeners. FINL will be back, I’m aching to do more.

Danger Cave
A good friend of mine, Jay, last Saturday, found his wife, Heather, laying face down in the living room, unconscious and not breathing from a severe heart attack. He did CPR on her until the paramedics came and rushed her to a hospital in Atlanta specializing in cardiac care. They kept her alive for the past week and today they declared her brain dead. She was 38.
As a fan of our show and as a close personal friend, our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. It must be an unimaginable pain to be going through.
We should be thankful for the people we have in our lives and enjoy every moment we have with them.
I wish you the best my friend. I love you.

One of my favorite moments
Over the past 7 months, I’ve had the privilege, not only get to know Chloe and Disco better, but to have found some very real and amazing moments in the show. The more we worked together, the more we could see that our brains were melding together. With any creative endeavor where you work with others, you know that it’s rare to find a person you can work well with, let alone really find something special with.
Having said that, I wanted to share a favorite moment of mine.
p.s. Yea, I’m being Robbie Feelings…go fuck ya self.
The Future.
Hi, everybody.
I’m just checking in to let you all know that I’m leaving the show. I told Rob and Chloe that they can have the keys and that I would be checking in from time to time over the summer. As of right now, Food Is Not Love officially belongs to Rob, Chloe, and who ever they choose to co host.
I had an amazing time doing the podcast and I appreciate all of you who listened and participated. There is still one more episode, featuring legendary bass player Mike Watt, that has yet to go up. I can tell you that it was the best and most personal interview I’ve ever done. Hands down, the Watt interview is my favorite thing that’s ever happened on this show. Truth be told, I haven’t really put my bass down since. I will have that episode edited and posted as soon as I possibly can.
As for me, I’m not sure I’ll be podcasting again. I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, but most notably, I’ve totally rediscovered my love for making music all over again. Like I said, I haven’t really put my bass down much lately. I do know that no matter what happens, my creative focus will be playing out again.
Rob will have the show up and running again very soon and I’m sure it will be hilarious. Also, like I said, I’ll be checking in from time to time as well. We’re still looking into being able to do part of the show remotely and if that’s at all possible I’ll come on as often as I can.
Before I drop the big “peace out,” I want to shout out Rene’ and Veronica also. As much as we kid about them on the show they both had just as much to do with the history of this podcast as I did.
I should mention that two weeks ago Rob and I wrapped shooting on the Tim To Power video. I’m sure that will be up, while Rob picks up the pieces of this thing and gets it together. So there is that to look forward to also. In the mean time, show Rob lots of love and support. I know I will. But then again, I’m a huge fan.

Disco-solo….again.

I’ve been on a song writing and recording frenzy lately. This will be the second song in one week! I don’t know what it is but I’m not unhappy about it in the least. I just get a melody in my head and see it through till the end. This one was entirely inspired by the Gaston character in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. Hey, I take it where I can get it. Hope you like it.

Well, we needed a chick for our Tim to Power video, and well this is what came in off the street…she got the job, but wow, words fail me. This chick is foul.

Sneak Preview From The Set Of The Tim To Power Video

Rob and Patty shooting the couch shot from outside the house. By the way, Rob is the crankiest director ever. Patty would later teach us all what the euphemism, “chili-dog” is. It’s gross.

Tim in full Bob Rosenberg gear. This is Rob shooting Tim in front of a pretty ghetto green-screen.

Disco-solo

Rob suggested I post this song here. I know this isn’t the sort of thing that happens all that often on this page but what the hell? Anyway, the story is that I was walking home from the store Thursday night and got this melody in my head. It was just nagging at me. The closer I got to the studio the more OCD I got about the whole thing. I mean, you ever get a song in your head and you know you won’t have any peace unless you listen to it a few times? The problem here is the song in my head wasn’t written yet. So I began taking out instruments and piling them on tracks all kinds of obsessively. There was definitely something very Howard Hughes about the entire process. Anyway, in about ten hours I had a song. It’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but needless to say, it’s not in my head anymore. I play everything on this, even the coffee cups. I hope you like it.
